I knew attending college would be something that would be a big undertaking and keep me overly busy, and that is exactly why I put it off after high school. Instead, I went to work full time. But just a few years later, I married, and I suddenly found myself with child. When she was two, I decided I needed a better way to support my daughter, so I began nursing school. This left me little time to cook each night, and I missed it. When I read Real Blue Apron reviews with many satisfied customers, I decided to give it a whirl. I figured it would be a good way to save some time.
Because my husband and I had a child at such young ages, we did not exactly have a lot of money. And he has a decent job that will let him move up with the help of promotions over time, but I did not. I had been working at a local retail shop and not making enough money. Because it is such a small store, there was only one manager position above me. The woman who is my manager has been working there for about 10 years, so I knew it would be hopeless to even think about aspiring to that position with the company. That’s when I sat down to think about what I wanted to do, and I chose nursing.
Nursing school has kept me busy for 3 years. And even though I am near the home stretch, I really missed making food for myself and my little family. I love to cook. I have no time to go to the grocery store to get really good things. My husband did most of the shopping for 3 years. Ordering Blue Apron really helped out. They sent the food right to you, and you just need to cook it.
