Salem Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama conducted Inter-school Literary competitions in connection with Swamiji's 150th Birth Anniversary Celebration from Oct 14 to 24, 2011.
The following Competitions were conducted:
1. Tamil Recitation Std LKG to 5th
2. English recitation Std 6th to 12th
3. Tamil Oratorical Std 6th to 12th
4. English Oratorical Std 6th to 12th
5. Devotional Music Std 6th to 12th
6. Gita chanating Std 6th to 12th
7.English Essay writing Std 6th to 12th
8.Tamil Essay Writing Std 6th to 12th
9. Drawing Std 6th to 12th
10.Quiz(Eng & Tamil) Std 6th to 12th
The competitions on Recitation, Oratorical, Essay writing and Quiz were based on the Life & Teachings of Swami Vivekananda. Free booklets and snacks were distributed to the participants.
